General information on toolholders (materials, standards, concentricity, balancing)
Presentation of the different types of chucks.
Fundamentals of HSM (choosing the right attachment).
Toolholder coding (HSK standard, form A, B, BT standard, CAT, CAPTO).
Notion of shrink fitting and adjustment of boring heads.
Approach to vibration (Steadyline anti-vibration bars).

Target audience and level required

Workshop, design office and methods technicians, production engineers and managers
. Anyone with knowledge of machining.

Design work for application

Handling different tool holders and attachment systems.
Optimal use of the My Pages/Suggest catalog and digital portal.
Knowledge of application solutions and games.

Quality criteria

Positioning at the start and end of training: round-table discussion and multiple-choice questions.
Validation of attendance and ongoing assessment of participants and trainer: attendance sheet, on-the-spot assessment, individual training certificates, validation of prior learning.
