Keep machines up and running while effectively controlling chips and heat generation with ISO turning toolholders that feature JETI (Jetstream Integrated) coolant clamps and shank adapters that also incorporate the JETI technology.
Quickly and effortlessly change inserts with the turn of only one screw thanks to the new coolant clamps. Because the clamps are made by additive manufacturing, their internal coolant channels are optimized specifically for turning applications.
During ISO turning operations, easily prevent hazardous accumulations of chips that can stall production and gain the ability to guide/steer chips away from the cut. This is possible with the Jetstream Tooling® holders and coolant clamps that deliver a concentrated high-pressure jet of coolant at high velocity precisely to the optimum position close to the cutting edge.
The new toolholders provide internal coolant flow but can still be used with external coolant hoses. Seco’s internal JETI technology channels coolant directly from the machine tool into the tool holder and out through the new coolant clamps.
With Seco’s new range of VDI machine-side shank adapters, those manufacturers with VDI-type turning machine turrets can now also benefit from JETI technology. The new adapters allow these shops to experience the high levels of productivity and long tool life that come as a result of using high pressure coolant.
