JOIN OUR WINGS FOR LIFE WORLD RUN TEAM
Join the Seco Tools Wings for Life World Run team.Fredrik Vejgården, President of Seco Tools, has created a team for the Wings for Life World Run and he wants you to be on it.
The Wings for Life World Run is a global running event taking place at the same time, on May 9, 2021. The unique thing about this race is that you don’t have to run a specific distance and there is no finish line. Instead, you can run wherever you want while trying to outrun a virtual “catcher car” that starts 30 minutes after you.
Everyone can participate, from beginners to professional runners, because everyone sets their own goal. You'll run (or walk) with thousands of people around the world at exactly the same time. You'll run as far as you can until the catcher car passes you. When it does, you have completed the race. There is an app that will bring participants together and keep track of the "catcher car".
If you want to join the Seco Tools team, feel free to pass the invitation along to your family members, friends, business partners, etc. The entry fee is 200 SEK (EUR20), which you pay for yourself, however, for everyone who joins the Seco Tools Wings for Life World Run team, Seco will donate an additional 200 SEK per person.
By participating you are not only doing this for your own health, but you are also supporting a good cause. 100% of all entry fees and donations go directly towards spinal cord research and to help find a cure for spinal cord injury.
The Wings for Life World Run starts at 11.00 UTC (13.00 CET) on May 9, 2021. 30 minutes later, the catcher car will begin its pursuit.
