Advanced training for manufacturing leaders to find bottleneck issues in your organization and increase overall efficiency, productivity, quality, and profitability.REGISTER FOR THE MASTERCLASS
The global shift from HVLM (High Volume Low Mix) to HMLV (High Mix Low Volume) presents challenges many of us have not been prepared for. This manufacturing reality exposes us to many more opportunities for downtime from both the usual suspects and more concerning, from hidden causes. The relationship between manufacturing process design, preparation, manufacturing and analysis is dynamic and must be re-evaluated in a new light if we are to truly achieve Manufacturing Excellence.
This Master Class gives a comprehensive overview of the best practices for wholistic process development discovered over many years of research and observation. Together, we intend to uncover the obstacles that interfere with a sustainable template for manufacturing excellence and explore ways to mitigate those obstacles. The primary purpose of this master class is to identify real-world models that can help us move toward a more productive, more profitable and more practical manufacturing environment.
Most recently, digital technology applied in programming, machine tool controls, and workpiece handling systems are facilitating the fourth generation of manufacturing production know as Industry 4.0 that enables high mix low volume production. To effectively accomplish the shift from HVLM to HMLV production it is crucial that manufacturers recognize the changing and growing realities of production economics and take advantage of the information and technology available to analyze their operations and meet and exceed their goals. A key element of this transformation involves abandoning overly simplistic and antiquated beliefs and practices and uncovering hidden costs that undermine attempts to achieve manufacturing excellence.
