A Discover Mazak 2011 event held in October, T3 featured the most advanced manufacturing technology including tooling and presentations from Seco, now a valued VIP partner to Mazak.

Over 30 new models of machines were introduced at T3, including the latest in Multi-Tasking, 5-axis, turning and milling technology.  Also, at this event, Mazak's expansive range of advanced machining technology through real-world applications were featured. Live cutting demonstrations showcased the world's most innovative turning, milling and multi-tasking metalcutting technologies, including full simultaneous 5-axis machining. T3 put on display the technologies that will revolutionize the future of manufacturing in the growing industries of aerospace, medical, energy, gear production and automotive -- which included a demonstratin of Seco's expertice.  Mazak was so impressed with our demo, they plan to replicate it in their other facilities as well.

Tuesday, October 25 - Kurt Nordlund, president of Seco Tools Inc. NAFTA, discussed the fundamental shifts in the manufacturing industry in recent years, and the role innovation, teamwork and partnership now plays in the success of todays manufacturer. Kurt also talked about the unique ways in which Seco and Mazak work together to develop complementary products that allow manufacturers to achieve optimal results.
